With the close of the /ovgtp/ season, its time to start deciding what mod will be run for ovg's third [[rFactor]] season. Below is a shortlist of mods we could potentially run, links to downloads and videos, and pros and cons of each mod. If you have an idea for a mod that should be run, feel free to add it to this list, but please keep these points in mind:
<br>
<br>
-Mod is based on actual cars (don't put 'miniville' or some shit).
<br>
-Physics are at least driveable/believable. Most of the time you're not going to get super 100% realistic physics and thats okay as long as the mod is driveable.
<br>
-Variety of cars. A 'Spec' series would be fun as a support series or for pick-up races, but for the 'Primary' series most people want a variety of cars to run.
<br>
-Balance. If we need to make a fuel or tire tweak here or there, that's fine. But let's not have any mods with hugely unbalanced cars (i.e. Simtek BES)
<br>

Over the coming weeks and months, it is highly encouraged that everybody try out the following mods (and other mods not listed that you think would work for /ovg/), and make your opinion heard in the thread.

=== Enduracers SP3 1.1 (Vanilla) ===
2007-2011 ACO/IMSA LMP1, LMP2, GT1, GT2, GTC.
<br>
[http://www.enduracers.com/downloads_es.html Info & Download]<br>
[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9OMzD6yujos: Video]
<br>
+ Variety of Cars, especially with the release of SP3.<br>
+ Cars are already balanced. Experience with the current season already tells us what needs to be tweaked and where.<br>
- We just ran this, most people will probably want to run something different.<br>
- Large install size. <br>
? Could possibly open this up to all four classes, with classes open for anyone to run whichever car they want (no "qualifiers").<br>

=== World Endurance Series 1.1 ===
2014+ ACO/IMSA LMP1, LMP2, GTE.
<br>
[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8zvwYBEdHrU: Video]
<br>
+ Variety of Cars.<br>
+ Decent quality models and sounds.<br>
+ Cars are slightly easier to drive thanks to higher downforce.<br>
- Physics might be shit.<br>
- Cars might be unbalanced. <br>
? Testing would be required to determine quality of physics and balance of cars.<br>
? Similar to Enduroracers, but with this decade of cars.<br>

=== Touring Masters 2.9 ===
Late 80s Group A Touring Cars.
[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r45UMNspEfg: Video]<br>
+ Good variety of popular touring cars.<br>
+ Good sound and model quality.<br>
+ "League" mod, meaning cars are already balanced.<br>
- Tire model MIGHT be shit.<br>
? Testing required to determine physics and tire model quality.<br>
? This is Touring Car Legends, just pre-balanced for league use. No need to post TCL here.<br>

=== Historic GT & Touring Cars 1.96 ===
60s and 70s FIA GT, Touring, and SCCA Trans-Am series cars.
<br>
[http://historicgt.fr.yuku.com/directory Info & Download]<br>
[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gW8SnTwggw0: Video]<br>
+ MASSIVELY FUCKHUGE variety of cars.<br>
+ Cars separated into fictional classes based on era and performance.<br>
+ Quality conversion of SimBin GT Legends content.<br>
+ Good physics modeling.<br>
- Massive filesize. Would require splitting the mod if racing a specific series.<br>
- Some cars might require performance balancing.<br>
? Contains a lot of series inside like the Trans-Am Over/Under 2L, various Le Mans and Targa Florio events and more.<br>

=== ORSM V8Factor Unleashed 1.1 ===
Aussie V8 Supercars.
<br>
[http://www.racedepartment.com/threads/v8factor-unleashed-v1-1-has-been-released.36003/: Info & Download]<br>
[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xmqc2hwOiy4: Video]<br>
+ Good quality physics and models.<br>
+ Well balanced.<br>
+ Cars survive contact easily. <br>
+ "Community Edition" for league use available. <br>
- Not much variety, Ford and Holden the only available makes, both cars drive the same.<br>
- Cars are harder to drive than what /ovg/ is used to.<br>

=== Virtua_LM GTPC 1.0 ===
1977-1989 GT, IMSA GTP, and FIA Group C.

Setting up a car to turn left is an entirely different kettle of fish to setting up a road course car. Asymmetrical setups are black magic and can be quite daunting without a little help. In this article, I'll try to demystify oval tuning.<br>

This guide primarily deals with stock car setups and was designed using [[RFactor2]] stock cars as a reference, but a lot of this stuff can be applied to open wheel TurnLeft as well.<br>

I have added links to some handy sheets and guides which this guide was based on.

= Before We Start: GET GOOD =
This isn't a meme. 90% of all perceived setup woes are actually driver errors. If you can't drive the car properly, all the tuning in the world can't help you, and in fact will probably make the car handle worse. Before anything else, you need to learn how to run the track and how to feel the car. For rF2, most ISI and 3PA tracks should have decent default setups for the stock cars, so go ahead and run '''nine hundred billion zillion laps''' to learn the track and the car before trying to tune. If you're completely new to turning left, [[iRacing]] has a ton of helpful instruction videos on youtube, and there are tons of guides to be found online. Also, don't be afraid to ask around in mumble for help.

= Oval Setup Tuning =

== Step 1: Cambers ==
Camber is an extremely important factor in any oval car for adjusting for tire wear and max grip. As an oval car moves through the corner, the car will roll to the outside. To compensate for this, oval car cambers are offset. What this means is that the inside tires have a ton of '''Positive Camber''', meaning the top of the tire leans away from the car. The outside tires, meanwhile, have a ton of '''Negative Camber''', meaning the top of the tire leans inward toward the car. As the car rolls in the corner, the tires also roll to the outside, providing a larger contact patch with the road.<br>

The end goal of tuning cambers is to get your tire temps even across the contact patch. Any sim worth its salt will list your "last tire temps" somewhere in the setup menu, and will list them in terms of Outside, Middle, and Inside. The goal is to get your outside and inside tire temps as even as possible. As you'll never get the temps exactly even, the '''left hand edge''' of all four tires should be the hotter side, and never hotter than the right side by more than about five or six degrees.<br>

What you want to do is run about five to ten laps at race pace (do not hotlap). These need to be consistent, consecutive laps. If you skid or flat spot the tires you'll mess up the temperature readings and have to start over. Once you've done this, go back to the tuning menu and check your temps. Adjust your camber angles as needed on all four tires. Then, go out and run ANOTHER five or ten consistent laps and repeat the process. Keep repeating this process until your temps are even.

The Camber process is the most important part of this process, as you will '''repeat''' the camber process after every other setup adjustment in this guide.

=== A Quick Note About Tire Pressures ===
You should adjust your tire pressures so that your middle temperature is near the midpoint of the outside and inside temps. This however may lead to goofy tire pressures that negatively affect handling. A good guideline is to make sure that your inside pressures are '''never''' higher than your outside pressures.

== Step 2: Crossweight and Wedge
Crossweight is the weight between the LF and RR or LR and RF. "Wedge" refers to an adjustment wherein the right rear

== What Is This Brand New Never Before Seen Racing Simulation? ==
While this game may look, feel, and sound very suspiciously like Project CARS 2 (which in turn looks, feels and sounds very much like rFactor 2), it is infact in no way similar to anything aforementioned. Developed by Slightly Made Studios, Project KOGAY is its own free-to-play, possibly pay-to-win, grind free racing simulation. Coded and compiled by "Blakarot" with art from "Gohan Blanco 100% Ciento" and "SSJX Shaggy Rojo", this game is endorsed by Russian billionaire banker turned Blancpain GT3 PRO driver Vadim Kogay himself, and ready to take on the big future titles in sim racing such as Kunos Simulazioni's upcoming title Assetto Corsa Fettuccine Alfredo and SimBin's vaporware pay-to-not-grind mobile phone game iGTR3.

== Rules and Helpful Things ==
===IMPORTANT===
Download the CommonTreeTextures.7z file if you don't have a potato for a PC. Place it in Project OVGT3\Pakfiles\Tracks.

Download the Pitstops.7z file or your game will hang on loading when trying to join a session already in progress. Place it in Project OVGT3\Pakfiles\Pitstops.

Turn Detailed Grass in the graphics settings to OFF (your game will crash otherwise), or download [https://mega.nz/#!nEVW1aQI!rhg-8lTerejksEzM_8rMP-TkW988DJ4qjDiG9GvVmkI this] file and place it in Pakfiles\Tracks.

The only cars included are GT3's and Ferrari F355, along with the first car in alphabetical order of every manufacturer that has a GT3. Don't click on any other cars or your game will crash. To make it easier for yourself, sort by class at the top when choosing a car. There is currently only one track included, which is Sugo. If you pick a track that isn't in the files, your game will crash.

Launch with ProjectCARS2AVX.exe

=== Rules ===
There will almost always be two xx minute races per weekend. Since there is no way to go directly to a second race after the first (I think?), the server will need to be reset, and a qualifying session will need to be run again.

=== Cool Features That Are Definitely NOT Bugs ===
Much like real life, the setup on your car sometimes reverts to default when you pull out of the pit box. Make sure you save and then load whatever setup you were working on before going on track, as it might have applied the default setup onto your car.

=== Keybinds ===
Look over all the keybinds, there is a ton of useful on track things in there that you'll want to know such as the Car Management menu, which is the only way to adjust your TCS on track. Cycle MoTeC LCD is another neat feature, especially if you play with the HUD off. You'll want to bind a key for headlights and wipers, incase there is a night and/or rain race.

=== Force Feedback ===
You might want to use [https://mega.nz/#!6AE2SCDJ!vPC8cYKuV8GswZXTBQztRPC3uU3PR6K8_YdIgw6GCiY Jack Spade's FFB Files.] I have no idea where to even start to help you pick one, but for reference I use Tire High Comp (I like feeling the tire in my FFB no matter the game) on my belt driven wheel.

FFB is directly derived from physics like rFactor 2. Bind FFB Volume and Tone adjustment keybinds in the Assistance tab. You can view your FFB strength, and see if you're clipping with the telemetry HUD. You can bind a key to Cycle HUD Display on the Game tab to access the telemetry HUD in game.

Gain - always at 100, use Volume to adjust the global FFB level to taste.

Tone - more or less balances Mz/Fy and generally should stay at default 50.

FX - controls the level of bumps, kerbs, grass, scrub and road noise, level to taste.

=== Graphics Settings ===
Download [https://mega.nz/#F!LcdDSQKD!DNmlW54Bw__HmuWXiX3IHg CommonTreeTextures] and place it in Pakfiles\Tracks if your computer can handle having trees being rendered.

Make sure Detailed Grass is set to off unless you downloaded [https://mega.nz/#!nEVW1aQI!rhg-8lTerejksEzM_8rMP-TkW988DJ4qjDiG9GvVmkI livegrassmeshes], or your game will hang on loading the track.

== How Do I Create A Custom Livery? ==
Download the template on the Google doc. Use the Google and/or the skinning guide on the wiki to find out how to save a .dds. Save the file with the same name into Vehicles\Textures\CustomLiveries.

Project KOGAY is an advanced pay driver simulation, where you're only able to use the cars provided to you, and as such you can not create your own livery for everyone else to see. It instead will show up as a plain white car when viewed by other simulators online, unless the person also replaced the same .dds file in their simulator.

== System Requirements ==
'''Q:''' Will you be using Mumble? '''A:''' No. Any necessary information will be disseminated in the thread and on the Google Sheet before the race.

'''Q:''' Is the car hard to drive? '''A:''' Yes and no. It's one of the easiest open-wheelers you can drive. That said, it does have a lot of power for how light it is, and no traction control or ABS. If you're losing the tail under braking, shift the brake balance forward. If you're locking up too much, brake less hard. If you're spinning the wheels on corner exit, be more patient.
Originally started in October of 2012, /ovg/ was the result of Forza 4 threads dying due to the release of Forza Horizon, and /o/ needing a place to talk about automotive vidya. /ovg/ functions as a place to talk about automotive vidya like everywhere else does, except we're on 4chan.

Cold Version is the first installment in the Saturday fun series hosted in Assetto Corsa.

== Car Rules ==
The car rules are pretty lax. You can drive anything you want, be it an SUV, a limousine, a vintage car and so on. The only things that are not allowed are racecars. That includes GT4, rally cars, cup cars etc. You can build your own car using whatever methods you want, as long as its based on a road going, production car. The restrictions are:

- 250hp per 1000kg

- No traction control (Will be disabled on the server). Abs is allowed.

- No active aero/drs/kers/nitrous/adjustable boost

- FWD/RWD -> Semislicks

- AWD -> Street tires v.10

==''How can I tune my own car?''==

''' ! if you modify a car make a new copy with a different folder name, without spaces '''
''' that will break sounds, use CM to replace sounds with ones from the OG car '''

[https://aluigi.altervista.org/quickbms.htm quickBMS] is a program that opens up the .acd file of a car that contains all the data you need to tune up.

[https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/assetto-corsa-car-tuner.13946/ Car tuner] is a nice little app that helps you open the car data without going through quickBMS, as this program uses it itself for you. Keep in mind though, that the version you create will an additional version of the car you are tuning, so you will have to fiddle with some extra stuff to make it an individual car. This will not be an issue if the car you are using is a kunos car(base game or DLC), but it will be if you are using a mod car, as it will make the download files unnecessarily big.

Another good app to use is [https://assettocorsa.club/content-manager.html content manager]. If you just want to swap tyres, content manager can do that with just a few clicks. You can even re-pack a car data folder to .acd as well.

From there you can edit the files as you want and create your own tuner version of a car. Add more horsepower, add a turbo, lower the weight, make the suspension more adjustable and so on. Just don't go crazy with it and make it too OP. I'll leave it to the creators judgement, but I will check for any blatant cheating, such as a 100kg car or using ultra wide tyres or super strong brakes.

If a car is still a tad too overpowered there will be a mild BoP via added weight from the server.

Send all your shitboxes to ''coldversion@slightlymadestudios.com'' so they can be added to the car pack.

Alternatively you can just pick a stock content car and just run that if it comes with the appropriate tires.

===Season Overview===

The inaugural 2017 /ovg/ FantasyGP season was the beginning of a long history in fantasy gaming for /ovg/. Although many came and sought to challenge for the title, a few stood out as contenders for the 2017 /ovg/ FantasyGP World Fantasy Management Champion, including the [[cheating nigger]] Isaac "''I swear I'm in another competition for real money''" Gonzales, Barney "''I won't come second this time''" Gumball, d "''every week is apparently a just cut for me but I'm still in contention for the championship''" prec and Marko "''let me tell you about how great rally is''" Tulska.

Barney led the into the final deciding race by 30 points ahead of Isaac and a 61 point lead ahead of Marko. Luckily, the Abu Dhabi race was extremely boring and uneventful, meaning Barney clinched the championship with 33 points to spare, [[cheating nigger]] took 2nd and dprec scored the most points for the weekend and edged himself in front of Marko to take 3rd in the championship.

===Python Controversy===

Initially, Barney spent an entire 2 hours writing a Python script to calculate the highest scoring driver and team combinations. Clearly he was trying to hard and was under investigation for being a [[cheating nigger]]. Fortunately, it was a little bit funny and was soon followed up by STiGuy's Free and Open Source Microsoft Excel spreadsheet licensed under GPL but, while it was freely available for anyone to use, it's questionable whether anyone cared enough to look at it.

==Rules==
Two races, 25 minutes each 8 minute qualifying before both races.

Race starts will be standing starts.

Some races may be at night, remember to bind a button for headlights.

Don't flip Marko Tulska. Unless it's [[Flip Marko Tulska Day]] or if flipping him would be really funny.

== Skin Submission ==

When setting up your .veh, change the CATEGORY= at the bottom from whatever car you stole it from to: OVGroup2. It makes the skin pack look neater with your own liveries in one category. Make my life easier and set up your .zip that you email as '''[car folder name]\[your name].'''

'''The DefaultLivery= line should be [the name of your dds].dds'''

Feel free to play with the GenString if you know what you're doing.

Any skin submitted after 03:00 UTC on each Saturday will not be accepted into that week's skin pack, unless you feel like bugging me about it on Mumble or the bread because then I'll probably wait.

Read the Google doc for the email.
== Other Things ==
===Grinding Tranny Plugin===

Grinding trannies in real life is cool but in game it sucks. Only use it if you're some kind of retarded LARPer who wants to go slow. Go into your Plugins folder and delete everything related to it.

===Halp I Need Moni===

Enter a test session and type ISI_BABYFACTORY into the chat. Case sensitive.

===How 2 Drive===

These tires are from the 60's, so don't be afraid to slide the car around a bit. It's sometimes faster.

'''The Brakes'''

They're also from the 60's, which means they are terrible. Optimal temperature range is 150-450c, which you'll pretty much never be able to hold unless you want to drive like a grandma. Expect the brakes to fade really hard after only 3-4 laps, or even earlier depending on how heavy/fast your car is. The cars also don't have onboard brake bias adjustment, so I'd suggest setting the bias up for when the brakes are overheated rather than when they're fresh.

===Wat Car is Gud===

Easiest to drive: Lotus Elite. It's also pretty slow.

Fastest: Lotus Elan. If you use this and you don't win you're a bitch.

== EN ESPANISH ==

[[File:40284578 2182929765329925 7949658137575817216 n.jpg]]

JAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJA

== Procedimiento de reinicio ==

== Elección del coche ==

Si no estás seguro.

* Sin castigo. Devolver el puesto es educado pero no es obligatorio. Un registro consistente de tales incidentes llevará a los delegados a ver que el contacto ya no es involuntario.

== Proceso de administración ==

== THE STUFF (en engles) ==

'''OVGACTC''' is our weekly short racing series with Argentinian Stock Cars in rFactor.
Races start every Saturday at 20:00 GMT. The cars used are tube-frame closed wheel prototypes, similar to American stock cars or V8SC. They're simple, durable racing cars powered by highly tuned straight-6 engines that are highly adjustable, but carry some questionable engineering decisions. Muchas gracias to señor pastor for the conversion.

The cars are:

-Chevrolet Chevy (literally a Nova)

-Ford Falcon (XL/XM in Aus or a '70 in US)

-Dodge GTX Cherokee (A Dart with a Jeep engine)

-IKA-Renault Torino Cherokee (An AMC with a Jeep engine)

There are slight power and aerodynamic differences between all the cars. Also one of them you can see out of.
If you want to know which car Fangio would have picked, it's the chevy because ford is too expensive.
==How Do I Download and Install the Mod, Along With Joining the Server?==
Using the Mega or MediaFire links on the Google document, download and install the mod in the order of v0.1, v0.5, and finally v1.0 (and then any others that come after idklol). Either install it manually by following the folder structure, or dragging the base mod and patches (still zipped) into your Content Manager window should install it correctly. Also make sure to download the current week's track under it's name on the round listing. Server name is WAT: OVGr4. Password is 4ch.

==Content Manager, Shaders Patch and Sol==
If for some reason you're a luddite who's been living under a rock, [https://assettocorsa.club/content-manager.html Content Manager] is essential to get around the Assetto Corsa spaghetti coding. Go download it.

After that, download and install the latest version of the [https://acstuff.ru/patch/ Custom Shaders Patch.]

Finally, install [https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/sol.24914/ Sol.]

All three of these mods work very well together, and allow tons of new things including night races and day/night time cycles, both of which will be used for the series.

Remember to keep both mods updated. Content Manager can automatically download and install updates for the Shaders Patch in Settings>Custom Shaders Patch>About & Updates. Also remember to download everything under Car Configs, Car Textures, Track Configs, and Tracks VAO. Press the 3 dots towards the top right of the window to download them.

==Playing With Assetto Corsa Lite==
The Assetto Corsa Lite install found on the Google Doc is a [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lite#Software lite] install of the game. It only includes one car, a Fiat 500, and one track, the Drift track. To join the server using this version you will need to download the ks_porsche_cayman_gt4_clubsport.7z and nurbgp.7z found in the folder where you downloaded Assetto Corsa Lite.7z. After that, and along with downloading the OVGr.4 mod and patches, you should be able to get into the server.
===Playing Online===
In the CONFIG.ini located in the root folder, remove the # from #BLoggedOn= and set it to true. After that, remove the # from #SteamAccountID= and set the number to your SteamID64 from https://steamid.io/

==Booking Mode and How It Works==
5 minutes before 20:00 GMT (thats 19:55 GMT dumbass), the server will go down to enable booking mode for 5 minutes. Click the server and then pick your car, along with your custom skin if you have one, and then click Join. Once the countdown is done, hit Join on the popup window and you will be in the server with your car and skin you chose.

==Rules==
Two races, thirty minutes each with eight minutes of public qualifying,

Some races may be at night, so remember to bind a button for headlights.

Don't flip Marko Tulska. Unless it's [[Flip Marko Tulska Day]] or if flipping him would be really funny.

===Track Limits===
Feel free to run wide on corner exit, just expect to be called a faggot and insulted in public especially if you wreck someone because of it.

===Race Restarts===
Unless there's a crash in the first few corners that takes out a decent amount of the grid, the race won't be restarted. At least one person with the ability to restart races will be watching from the back of the grid.

===Points System===
Instead of racing for points for yourself, this time around you will be racing for the top spot for both your car's Manufacturer, and your Nation*. Driver points will still be scored, but it shouldn't be considered the main focus.

If two or more drivers are racing for the same manufacturer, only the highest scoring driver will score points from that race for that manufacturer. Same rules apply for nation.

Don't be a pussy, stick with the manufacturer you chose in the first (non-test) race you enter. If you really want to switch cars you can with no penalty, just expect to be called a fag for abandoning your manufacturer that so lovingly provided you a free car in hopes they'll be known as the best.

<nowiki>*You don't have to put where you're from on the Google doc, you'll just be placed on team Bus Riders Sans Frontières. Fantasy locations are accepted as well.</nowiki>

===Skinning Rules===
If you make a skin, place the flag of your nation in the location of the example flag on the number plate provided [https://mega.nz/#!SVNmyCIb!2_OG5TRWoIUJAiB5UoSpryL9zL287whA6qYAJzjguQ0 here.] Place the number plate on the left and right side of the car, along with one on the hood/bonnet/frunk/that flappy bit that moves up and down in front of the cockpit. If the template for your car is garbage/non-existant then don't worry about it.

The skinning rules aren't mandatory (lol) but it makes things such as thread .webm's and general atmosphere of the race seem more genuine.

==Skinning==
[[File:Skin names.png|thumb|Skin Names]]
[http://get-good.net/index.php?title=RFactor_Skinning I know it says rFactor but the Photoshop related rules still apply.]
===Getting Your Skin In Game===
Various cars have different naming conventions for the skin filename. To get the filename for the car skin, or whatever other part you're painting, view the car using CM Showroom in Content Manager.

So for example, to find the name you'd need to use for the Maserati:

1)Click on any major body panel such as the rear quarter panel or roof

2)Look at the txDiffuse line which in this case is Skin_D.dds.

3)Use that name for the body paint.

===Skin Submission Deadline===
You have until 16 hours before every race start to submit a skin. Skins sent in after the deadline will be put into next week's skin pack.

==Car Selection==
Alfa Romeo 4C - RWD

Alpine A110 - RWD

McLaren 570S - RWD

Mercedes-Benz AMG - RWD

Mosler MT900S - RWD

Nissan GT-R NISMO - AWD

Porsche Cayman - RWD

Renault Clio - FWD

Subaru WRX STi - AWD

Volkswagen Scirocco - FWD

Just like GT Sport's Gr.4 car category that this series idea totally isn't ripping off, AWD and FWD GT4's are available.

==Extra Things==
-Presence on Mumble is not mandatory, but highly encouraged.

-While the series is open for anyone to join, please practice until you feel comfortable around the track before joining the race.

===COOL SETUP TIPS and TRICKS===
-If you don't really understand the intricacies of fast and are just looking for a layout that will give the best lap times out of the box, use a FR car.

-No idea what you're doing in the setup menu? Try one of [https://mega.nz/#F!DQ1ECKwZ!Xn5wKyfSOX_YlmsboU0oXw these] baseline setups.

-Aim for 26 PSI hot (hot=PSI after a few laps) tire pressure. If you drive aggressively enough your cold PSI (cold=starting PSI) should be somewhere between 16-18 depending on the track and car. If your tires are up to the correct pressure but the tire temperature is still cold, adjust your setup to get more heat into the tire, usually by giving it more toe and/or more camber. But chances are you're just not driving hard enough. Some tracks with long straights (ex. Spa, Monza) it is simply impossible to keep the tire in the correct temperature for the whole lap.

-If you're using a FWD car, using traction control is faster. And let the racing gods have mercy on your sorry ass because these things aren't very competitive on anything besides long straights.

-AWD cars can be ran with traction control off without an issue, and it should be faster with it off.

-Shift a bit after 7,000 RPM with front engine cars, and FWD cars shift at 6,500 RPM.

===HOW DO I MAKE MY HEADLIGHTS REACH FURTHER?===
It's in one of the Sol apps it says headlight range (m) or something like that.

===HOW MUCH FUEL DO I NEED?===
Do a few race speed laps, and in the garage the game will calculate roughly how much fuel you'll need for an x length race. Fill in a few extra liters to be safe.

===Restart Procedure===
Race will be restarted if needed.

===Track Limits===
Keep it on the brown stuff.

==Classes==
===Pro 2===
Horsepower: 900hp

Torque: 760ft-lbs

Weight: 3500lbs

Difficulty: '''EXTREME'''

It's not actually that difficult to drive, you just need some sense of counter steering, throttle control, and knowing how to control your truck going off of jumps.

===Pro Buggy===
Horsepower: 300hp

Torque: 259ft-lbs

Weight: 2500lbs

Difficulty: Normal

This is a good truck to drive if you're actually retarded and yet you still don't bother to practice at all before showing up halfway into qualifying.

==Skinning==
As usual, you can make your own livery if you like. Skin Templates and the email to which you send it to are available on the Google Doc.

In your .veh file, set your Category name to Category="OVGSOR"

If you need help, please refer to the [[RFactor Skinning]] guide.

==FAQ==
Presence on Mumble is not mandatory, but '''''highly''''' encouraged.

While the series is open for anyone to join, please practice until you feel comfortable around the track before joining the race.

These trucks do not have ABS, lower your brake pressure all the way if you are locking up too easily.
===Jump Control===
If you wanna go fasd you sadly can't be chucking the truck off of huge angle ramps at full speed since you'll be spending alot of time in the air which doesn't make you go fast since it's a car, not a plane. Low angle tabletops and such there's no reason to not just go flying straight over it but tall ramps that angle pretty high up you may find more speed in slowing the truck down just before the top of the ramp. You'll spend less time in the air which means you can land quicker and get back to accelerating.

===Midair Control===
Yes that arcade game you played with 400ft jumps has some sense to it. Obviously you want to land squarely on all wheels, so if the nose of your truck is pointing too far upwards, hit the brake a bit and the front end will pitch down. If the nose is too far down, mash the throttle, or get off the throttle and pin it down again. Getting the nose to point upwards doesn't work nearly as well as setting it down though.

===Setup?===
[https://mega.nz/#!7dl0DaDJ!1v2cGVxdhRHyS_mb-avEjsS8UGYQEaO3CyYmq4Ms2yE Setup]

Place in Userdata\yourname\Settings

===Force Feedback===
For the Pro 2, set your FFB strength slider to a positive percentage. If you run caster in the setup, such as with the baseline setup posted in the mega folder that you should use, you need to run negative FFB strength or your FFB will be reversed.

=== Wat Car Iz Gud 4 Me? ===
If you really need to ask because you're too much of a dumb dumb to try them out for yourself, use the Pro Buggy.

== Introduction ==

The 2019 /ovg/ Nearly Summer Stages will take place on the 25th of May using [[RFactor]]. The event will consist of 15 stages covering just over 83 miles of special stages, with stages both in the day and the night. The rally will be simulated as if it covered two days with day one covering 50.6 miles and day two covering 32.5 miles.

== Timetable ==

Saturday 30th March - Entries open

Saturday 11th May - Recce videos released, passworded track pack made available to download.

Thursday 23rd May 11PM UTC - Normal entries closed for seeding.

<span style="color:#FF0000">12AM UTC - Skinpack released</span>

7PM UTC - Mandatory drivers briefing on mumble <span style="color:#FF0000">and the trackpack password will be given out during the briefing</span>, once finished the server goes up and the event begins, name is WAT: /ovg/ Nearly Summer Stages pw is ireadtheregs

== Entries ==

Entries '''must''' be made before the late entries time otherwise you will not be able to participate. To enter the event go to the google doc and fill in your details [https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1R3KWTJsrlS9X2EZUNXY8KbHfsHD-t3_EU_A1n6wBBQc/edit#gid=1694408081].

== Rules & Procedure ==

Presence on mumble will be mandatory, you don't have to talk, you just need to be there to listen to instructions.

The trackpack will be passworded until just before the event to prevent pre event practising.

Start times will be based on seeded position and there will be 30 second gaps between each competitor starting the first stage of the current map. For any additional stages on the same map there will be no set starting time as this will be too difficult to manage on a logistics basis so to do a legitimate start on these stages you will simply need to start from a standing start. Failure to start any of these stages from a standing start will be seen as a jump start and will incur a 1 minute penalty. Repeat offenders will be disqualified and removed from the event. If you're confused on how this works go watch Lancer's video of the last event. [https://youtu.be/i6soN8fTfIM]

You must use the skin which has your name and number on it, if you do not you will be kicked from the session.

There will be minimum and maximum stage times for this event like in real rallies, which mean if anyone goes under the minimum time they receive the minimum time and if anyone goes over the maximum time they receive the maximum time for the stage. These times will be released when the recce videos are released.

Cutting the stage is not allowed, cutting is defined as all four wheels off track on the inside of a corner.

If you retire during the first leg of stages you will be given a stage maximum for any stages you fail to complete, but you will be able to restart the second leg under Rally2 if you wish. If you retire in the second leg you will be counted as retired, though you may continue to drive any stages after a map change for fun. '''IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO CONTINUE DRIVING FOR ANY REASON YOU MUST NOT GO BACK TO THE PITS AND RESTART THE STAGE, YOU WILL BE REMOVED AND BANNED FROM THE SERVER IF YOU DO SO.''' This rule is in place in order to make sure the timing is not broken.

After the end of all the stages on the current map the server will be moved to the next map. Seeded order will be kept the same, unless someone is clearly faster than the car ahead, in which case they will be re-seeded.

== Penalties ==

Jump Start - 1 Minute

Stage Cutting - 20 seconds per incident

Intentional Disruption - Disqualification

Baulking (Intentionally or repeatedly holding up another competitior) - 1st warning 1 minute penalty, 2nd warning 10 minute penalty, 3rd warning exclusion

Not finishing a stage on leg 1 - Stage Maximum for the stage

== Pacenotes ==

Using a co-driver is highly recommended as this event will be considerably tougher than the last. You will need to write your own pacenotes using the recce videos [https://docs.google.com/document/d/1gZBkBfbXTB773EGaRkvKoKeK-e-fmSTQ0aU32WquqMU/edit?usp=sharing]. Keep in mind that if you have a co driver you will need to move to a separate mumble channel after the drivers briefing as the main mumble channel can't be full of different crews trying to all drive at the same time.

== Results, Ties & Protests ==

Results will be timed to 0.001 of a second.

There will be no tiebreakers, if a position is tied then both competitors get the same result.

Protests must be made within half an hour of provisional results being published, if no protests are received then the results will be finalised.

== <span style="color:#FF0000">Final Instructions</span> ==

Pic related[https://i.imgur.com/dXYTQJF.png] contains pictures of the boards you'll see on the stages. The two that matter to you are numbered.

>1 - Stage Start

>2 - Stage Finish

Sounds simple enough but last time out people didn't know what the boards meant and got themselves confused.

The Asserrgi stage becomes wet halfway through, though this isn't always clear when in the dark. The point where it becomes wet is after the bridge here: https://youtu.be/JaO4XhAkljo?t=867 [Embed]
Make sure to note this down in case you can't tell were it becomes 'wet'.

If you're using an evo ix (or want cool spectator cams for the guys in evos) and have already downloaded the patch, download this:

>https://mega.nz/#!S8klEazT!h_M3NiTJc0yatodEBfOh7Cc4G4kGWOoFmphuTEE0s8o

and put it here:

>\GameData\Vehicles\RTE-R\N4\EvoIXGrN

We definitely didn't miss this in the otherwise successful bug testing, it's in the main patch now though.

Make sure you've read through the regs fully, downloaded everything you need to and made your pacenotes if you have a codriver.

== Additional Information and links ==

All relevant links (templates, download links and skin email) can be found on the doc[https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1R3KWTJsrlS9X2EZUNXY8KbHfsHD-t3_EU_A1n6wBBQc/edit#gid=1694408081]. When making your skin to follow the instructions on the linked pastebin page.

[[File:RRModernTitle.jpeg|center]]

Ridge Racer is a Arcade game that focuses on road racing around made up tracks, mostly taking place in Ridge City when they tend to get mentioned. Players start at the back of the grid and fight their way to first. It also features drifting as a mechanic that became more prominent as the series progressed. RR offers great music, wild rides, beautiful vistas, Namco callbacks, and great challenge. Starting in 1995 for home consoles (arcade machines could be found in '93) it has been home on PlayStation consoles, with exceptions being the Nintendo 64, Nintendo DS/3DS, and Xbox 360. All ridge racer games come recommended.

==PlayStation 1==

===Ridge Racer/Ridge Racer Turbo===
The genesis for the series on home console. It was ported over from the Namco System 22 arcade game with new features. The base game of one track that has a variation (the Famous "bird" course that has popped up in subsequent games) with three difficulty levels and a time trial. The PlayStation added in a third person view (the arcade only had first person), reversed courses, and a Mirror mode (achieved by turning around on the start and driving into a wall placed behind you), and the reoccurring "boss" of the 13th Racing car nicknamed "Devil" that's challenged by beating the three difficulty levels and going onto time trail. This marked a moment where a home console surpassed the arcade.

A "Turbo" version of the game was made that ran at 60 FPS. It had the four cars, the "bird" course with variation, and two music choices and a different shading method. It came packaged as a bonus disk with R4, which also had the Regular RR for you to compare the two. The 60 FPS was done as a demo to see if R4 could be ran at improved graphics with 60 FPS but couldn't do so on the PS1. There was also a version where you sat in a Miata to play the game being displayed on three separate screens.

===Ridge Racer Revolution===
RRR isn't changed much from the first but is definitely add onto. The course has changed from the "Bird" course to something else that has a different layout for each difficulty level instead of just having two. The music includes remixes and new tracks. It retains the extra reverse courses (a constant through out the series) and the choice of time the races take place once you win the main three races. This also introduces 13th Racing kid and the White Angel, who would become a constant through out the series like "Devil". It also added "multi-player" that work like LAN in that you need two PS1's and two copy's of the game. Still at least it had it, unlike the first.

===Rage Racer===
This marked the first Ridge Racer developed for home console over being a port of an arcade game. This game also sets the "lore" as it were, in that car companies are established, distinct courses were made instead of just having having variations on the same course (thought there still are variations and "extra" races on the same tracks just reversed), and the face of the series Reiko Nagase was fully introduced. The style is more realistic and detailed here opposed to the previous two which just used nearly flat colors and basic textures. There is a customization aspect to the game as well in that you could choose tires that more suited your style/the course you'd be driving, paint (with Mario Itasha too for custom logos), and even spend money earned to increase the performance of a car (as represented as a different spoiler/wing and wheel arch bulge).

The Car selection is pretty vast, especially over the previous games, with there being four manufactures with almost all having three standard cars and flagship car, as it were. The manufactures are Gnade, who is odd-man-out with only one vehicle and you start with it but it's average in all respects. Lizard (who would later become Danver) sells 'Murican cars with insane acceleration but not much handling fineness. Age, that makes Renault's with very good handling. Then there's Assoluto with monstrous top speed, but not much else. The last tier of standard cars and the flagships all come with Manual Transmissions only, so they're scrub proof.

Rage Racer also lives up to it name as it's the most consistently hard game in the series where as other would ramp up. First the AI is fast and with limited amounts of retries to make podium to move to the next class the bar's pretty high. Then it set's the bar on fire and starts berating you. First you must come first in all races (especially on the last race in the series as if you finish second you technically didn't win the series and can't go back to get first without wasting retries) to earn a trophy and you must use a car at level or below also (So only the Gnade can be used for the first three tracks, a grade 2 car for class 2, ect.). Then just do that four more times and you'll unlock the Extra GP and enough money to buy anything. Complete the Extra GP and you unlock the 6th class races and the Flagship cars become available to buy. Many hours of Rage Racing will occur. Still a pretty solid game.

===R4: Ridge Racer Type 4===
<span style="color: green;">As mentioned in the opening of this page, all Ridge Racer games come recommended. But while all animals are equal, some are more equal then others.</span>

Namco would have to do something amazing to top the solid entry of Rage Racer. And they did. The ONLY game with a story other then "why do they do it and why are they named Ridge/Rage Racers?" and the story is pretty solid. It's based on which team you choose and how well you do which is better then pretty much all RPG's released now-a-days. The game also has 321 cars in case you were wondering about the racing part of the game. Speaking of which, this is the best racing even amongst other more modern games. The drifting is drastically different in that your car acts as though it's drifting and doesn't become a roller-coaster, which does take some getting use to if you've played every other Ridge Racer. Another difference is that it uses Gouraud shading so the game looks more pretty then a game on the PS1 has a right to. The races take place on fictional future courses at real places (like L.A.) where as every other title defaulted to "Ridge City". The Story mode takes place over three Grand Prix that have two races for the first two GP and a four race final GP with races taking place on multitude of courses with the qualifying starting at third place, then second for the second GP series and first throughout the the final GP. The Customization of cars is paired back from Rage in that you can't make a logo from scratch but can choose a different color and have an icon on the hood. You also can't alter the performance of the cars you have but if you do<span style="text-decoration: line-through;"> well</span> poor enough you can earn an upgraded version.

It also has proper multi-player too. Special versions came with a Jogcon controller. It's a bit stupid looking.

==Nintendo 64 and handhelds==

===Ridge Racer 64===
Namco would have to do something amazing to top the GOD-TIER entry of Ridge Racer Type 4. They didn't. They really didn't, as this was developed in-house by Nintendo for the Nintendo 64 which was three years old at the time, with the GameCube coming out a year latter and Ridge Racer V coming out out little towards the end of 2000. This is certainly the most a-typical of the Ridge Racers which were usually: PlayStation exclusive, a launch title (thought Rage and R4 don't necessarily fit this ether), and not made by Namco. The only other title to be like this. Will be discussed later. But unlike that title, this one is damn good and serves as a more direct sequel to the spirit of Ridge Racer and RR: Revolution. It has a little bit of R4's style but is more old-school. The courses are the "Bird" track from the original, Revolutions course, and a unique track called "Renegade" that takes place in the desert (which more games frankly need).

The Car selection is more in line with Rage but still has enough special machines to titillate a treasure hunter. 32 in total (which can have their color changed on a sliding scale), which include an enclosed golf cart with absurd top speed, and the ship from Galaga. The manner of unlocking the cars is unique in that you have to duel each car to unlock it, outside of the four starting cars and hidden cars (though you do need to do something to earn them). This idea was in the originals, though it was only to unlock the PS exclusive "Devil" and then "Kid" and "Angel" in RR: Revolution. This takes place with a Car on each Course of game.

The Courses are, as mentioned before, "Bird", "Revolution's", and "Renegade", which all have variation on layout and time the race takes place. A High-speed course is opened latter and there is the "Extra GP" course variations for each course too. It also introduces the idea of a reward for doing 99 laps on a course (you get a Pac-man ghost that is called Inky but can represent the other ghosts by changing the color). This also has the best announcer, personally speaking. You can also change Drift and collision physics between RR and RR: Revolution.

===Ridge Racer DS/3DS===
This game was remade for the DS and changes Reiko to Gina Cavalli from R: Racing Evolution and the graphic on the "Ultra 64" car from the original's 64 to the infinitely less cool DS. And while the physics are set to their own, collisions are less ruinous then in the 64 version so there's that. Supposedly the corners are easier to navigate too. Also some of the hidden cars details have been replaced with Nintendo characters. The announcer has also been changed too. The author has not played this version so comments cannot be made. Same for the 3DS game that was made, that is not related to 64/DS but later games like 6&7.

==Arcade - Namco System 22==

===Ridge Racer 2===
An upgrade for original Ridge Racer cabinets, RR2 is the same game but with a rear-view mirror, day/night cycle, and 8-way multiplayer. It also features a new soundtrack.

===Rave Racer===
A true sequel to the original Ridge Racer, Rave Racer was never ported to home console, and so exists only as an arcade machine. Rave Racer features the original Ridge Racer's "Novice" and "Expert" layout, as well as two new circuits, "City" and "Mountain". It also features better graphics and animation, as well as new, more intuitive drifting physics. Introduced with Rave Racer was the "slipstream" mechanic, making it possible to draft opposing racers in order to slingshot around them. The AI were much more competitive, and could also draft the player and eachother, making Rave Racer one of the more difficult games in the series.

==PlayStation 2==

===Ridge Racer V===
Ridge Racer V is the last of the "grip centric" Ridge Racers where cars could make turns (even the American ones) where drifting was featured. Latter would be all drifting, all the time. This game is more a sequel to Rage Racer rather then R4 in that the style is more contemporary rather then futuristic. It also features Livery paint customization (no tire changes though just rim color change) over just collecting livery's. There are two types of liveries you can paint, "Stripe" and "Two-tone". And cars have manufacture specific speedos too. But R4 has it's representation here too in that cars are classified as ether grip or drift and you collect cars by completing GPs with them rather then buying them.
Also has a "secret" Pac-man car, but this one is earned by beating a special GP that unlocks after you drive 3,000 KM (or 1,900 MI) rather than collecting 350 cars. It also features a return of Devil and Angel (Kid and a "Kid" Angel were in 64 and "Devil" was represented spiritually with the "Lizard Nightmare") along with the the Soldat Rumeur (a modern interpretation of the Fiat Abarth 1000 TC) with superb handling that will more often then not put you into the inside wall unless you practice with it. Then there's the Danver Spectra (An ambassador from 1950's Americana with a massive Supercharged V8) that's a bit hard to control while drifting (not as bad as "Devil") but if you put it into a wall it will just accelerate to it's decent-relative-to-other-duel-cars top speed without much wait. Ridge city is probably the most characterized in this game due to the announcer who is a radio DJ (who is personally third best) and the courses you race.

May make your PS2 cry, as it tries to render the graphics. This is also the only game to not feature Reiko Nagase (except for the first two, DS remake of 64, and a later release).

==Xbox 360==

===Ridge Racer 6===
This marks a turning point for the series. Cars apparently forgot how to turn except when sideways and Nitrous was introduced because this game was made in a post "Fast and the Furious" world. This game is definitely more modern in terms of the car design and course design over V (which to be fair was released in 2000). It also has possibly the longest GP mode (with possible exceptions to 7 and R4/Rage depending how OCD you are.) Though different car classes, race types (usually centered around nitrous) and extra races against harder opponents keep it from getting too tedious. Also make better use out of the Special Vehicles (you could only use Duel cars for one race in V and Rage only had the Flagship cars eligible for one GP though they could be used elsewhere). Story is also the weakest here in that it has a standard "Become Fastest <!-- it's ment to be like this-->rasar" and the announcer is focused on you and doesn't mention much else, unlike V's DJ (speaking of which you have options to change the announcer from V's DJ's retarded cousin to the female robot voice-over for most everything else in the game [That I like best since it fits the tone of the game better and is my second best announcer] and Tekken's Heihachi Mishima [who is a Moon-rune special]). Customization is on par with V, in that you can change Livery color and wheel color, but the Livery's aren't limited to just two generic choices of "Stripe" and "Two-tone" and are instead full racing liveries, though some are better then others. Unlocking things is done by encircling them on the map by beating all the races around them. This is done by the "make your own GP" style rather then having preset races. There are thirty courses to race. The special machines are also some of the most inventive here with a Rocket powered GAZ 14 and a Hovercraft.

==PlayStation 3==

===Ridge Racer 7===
Think of this as the "Directors Cut" of Ridge Racer 6. With a liberal helping of R4 for good measure. It' all of RR6 with a new car from Sinseong (the newest car maker in Ridge Racer with Himmel being second newest appearing in V)courses, a Drafting mechanic, and most in-depth customization with perfomance and body being changble. It also feature limitless retries, a feature not seen since RR:Revolution in '96.

==PSP==
The Author of this initial article has not played any handheld iterations of the games so basic facts are presented only.

===Ridge Racer===
This could be considered a "Best of" compilation as it features courses from Ridge Racer (on the PS1) to R4 and two courses from the Arcade only Rave Racer (both forward and backward) as well as music (though it does have it's own music). The cars predate 6/7 but are the same cars. Would be advised for Ridge Racing on the go and as a nostalgia trip.

===Ridge Racer 2===
More of the same but with some original courses and an appearance by the Rally-X car. It feature 62(?) cars.

==Other Things==

===R: Racing Evolution===
This is being mentioned here only for the sake of completeness of the article.

Unlike other entries in the series, which featured fictional places and alien cars, R: Racing Evolution (omit the @Evolution@ in Jap version) featuring more realistic grippy physics with a mix of real life tracks and fictional ones, along with strictly real cars. It is also the only Ridge Racer in the series which featuring rally and drag races.

The campaign mode name 'Racing Life', where you follow the story of Rena Hayami, the most waifu-able ambulance driver who got lucky after saving Flavio Briatore-lookalike's life and offered a professional racing career, something that not even /ourguy/ [[Vadim Kogay]] can achieve. There's also this delicious brown babe and some conspiracy story that only there to fulfill Namco's checklist of trends happened in early 2000s racing vidyas.

Campaign itself is spanned into 8 chapters incorporating multiple racing disciplines such as tuned cars, rally cars, classic 'Murican dragsters, LMPs, and the only Fiat 500 that can make GT1 cars to suck its peepee around the world summarized in 8 different tracks. Car list is quite limited but nicely selected but no tuning and shieeeeet.

'''TL;DR''' only similarity between it and Ridge Racer is it's a racing game made by Namco and has a Story like R4. Other than that, a poor man's [[Gran Turismo]]. Still pretty good.

==Bastard Children==
Know how I've been saying that the entire series is recommended? That doesn't extend to these games.

===Vita===
If you want recommended Ridge Racer games stop reading. If there was a spot to point at to declare Ridge Racer dead, it's here. Ridge Racer 7 was beaten onto the Vita, striped, and told to go make Daddy BamCo some money. Considering it made it onto [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_video_games_notable_for_negative_reception this] list (which delights me to no end to find) you could figure out how well that went. It's a nothing game that only serves to deliver DLC. It's the EA "Dungeon Master" of the Ridge Racer series which up to this point has been fantastic.

===Unbounded===
We are now into grave robbing territory. If the Vita was nothing more then a bare bones version of a Ridge Racer game meant to cart you DLC, you could be generous and say it's at least a Ridge Racer game. It only being mentioned here to serve as a warning.

This is not.

Unlike previous installments, the development of this shit was outsourced to Bugbear, famed for [[Flatout]] series. A multiplatform title a la RR64. Except this one sucks. Because it's not a Ridge Racer game.

So where do we start with Unbounded? How about with a theory? One day Bugbear were working on the next Flatout then a representative from BamCo kicked down the door , punched the nearest developer, threw the second nearest a thumb drive with some songs and the model data for the RR6 Crinale and spoke "Ridge Racer. <!-- It's ment to be like this --> 23 Hours. Go". And that how this game came to be.

While that's not true (Bugbear only agree to made the game to fund their spiritual successor of Flatout, due to publisher Empire Interactive went under in 2008 and license went to Team6 a.k.a Team6hovelware), the end results would be the same.

Now for a more thorough dissection of this game: First, apart from some cars and songs, there is NOTHING RESEMBLING RIDGE RACER AT ALL, instead it's a mix-mash of Flatout (ability to crash the opponents over time) + Burnout (almighty shunt into walls before respawning) + Split/Second (destructible environment and multiple-stage nitrous). Problem is, slow bangers racing of Flatout and the quick berserker take-downs of Burnout don't blend.

The two styles are differentiated by Nitrous on loan from 6 (you commit to boost when you hit the button, but they could only get stage one) and unlike in Burnout (where you being taken down was possible, but uncommon [in Paradise at least]) you get taken down like a black man runnin'. And taking down people isn't really worth it because outside the first time you don't get refilled on nitrous which could be used to open a shortcut or defend if you pay attention to the rear view.

World does not belong to sleek and acid jazz-ridden futuristic theme, another RR signature; instead in Baghdad 2666 with ISIS kids in edgelords' clothing. Despite there's a track editor, all the courses seem more same-ish then Revolutions courses. The achievement Homage (that pays tribute to a better game designer, Isao Nakamura) and Fanboy's Revenge (win an online race in the Crinale, the only enjoyable section of this shit). As previously mentioned, the only car directly related to previous installments is Crinale (same as Soldat Crinale just without 'Soldat') while the rest three are DLC (who still don't mention the manufactures).

Now for another theory. This game panned so hard they took the engine and made a "Free"-to-play version of it and shoved it on steam. Except they did.

Just go play other Ridge Racer game that is not mentioned in this section. Hell, anything else really.

|}

All driver aids except ABS are forbidden.

==Procedures==
===Vision Check===
Before starting a race or qualifying session, the host may call for a Vision Check. All drivers must enter the track and report how many drivers are visible to them according to their 'Position' indicator (e.g.: 3/8, 8 drivers are visible). Drivers reporting fewer than the true number must leave the lobby and re-connect to correct the issue. Clearing the PS3's cache is also recommended.

===Manual Grid Order===
In the event that anyone leaves and re-joins the lobby between heats, the grid will be ordered manually. All drivers must vacate the track and refrain from using the chat for the duration of the procedure. Grid order will be set to 'Fastest first'. The host will then call drivers to enter the track one by one, from the lowest finisher of the previous heat to the fastest, followed by anyone who did not race the previous heat.

===Restart===
In the event that the start of a race is compromised by a poor connection to the extent that the race starts before one or more drivers are in control of their car, a restart may be requested by any driver. The request will take the form of the word ''' 'restart' ''' in chat and must be submitted within ninety seconds of the race start or before the first lap is completed - whichever is sooner. If the request is considered valid, the series organiser will announce ''' 'abort' ''' and all drivers will abandon the heat. No more than one restart will be undertaken per heat and restarts will not be undertaken in consecutive heats at the request of the same driver. For races containing more than ten drivers, at least two drivers must request restarts. Drivers requesting a restart are expected to continue racing while they await a decision.

==Rules and enforcement==
Don't take the piss.

==Series summary==
After an incredibly tight first weekend, Skoda_chef and BlackDog were just 2 points ahead of H8_Lipehlol. On the second weekend, BlackDog suffered from equipment failure, leaving Skoda and H8 to duke it out for the series win. After more tight racing, Skoda managed to maintain his lead and take the overall series victory.
